Blank walls are frankly pretty uninteresting, but it merely requires a fairly easy makeover to show them from blah to wow. You may use decorative stickers, wallpaper or, for any more personal touch, build your own kitchen wall decor. The blank walls serve as your canvas and you will let your creativity run free. Here are a few easy projects to acquire started:
Paper Plate Collection
The porcelain an example may be a real classic, but why not provide a modern twist and make use of paper plates? Either find plates in colors, shapes and patterns you prefer and display them as they are, or make use of them as frames but placing photo, recipe or artwork within the center. If you want to protect the picture, cover everything which has a coating of the clear varnish or sealer (including Mod Podge).
Silverware
Vintage silverware make interesting wall decor, and it is more enjoyable showing them off as opposed to leaving them stacked in the drawer. Showcase their luster using simple frames. Group them in pairs or perhaps different sizes and place on your wall. Shadow boxes make great holders as well; display them alternately using the frames. Make sure to make use of a strong adhesive which could support the weight with the silverware – you wouldn’t want them coming crashing from the glass whenever you least expect it!
